Haute cuisine (les saveurs du palais) : The opening night film of the festival. A story about Hortense Laborie, a renowned chef from Perigord, who worked for the president of the French republic.

The big night : French trouble-makers Benoît Delépine and Gustave Kervern are back with an anarchic and oddball comedy about aging punks in France.

Journal de France: A documentary of the life of Raymond Depardon, a French movie maker and photographer.

The other son: A movie about a story of two families who inadvertently switched babies at birth. This movie is also an overview of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Mr. Hulot’s Holiday : this movie follows the generally harmless misadventures of a lovable, clumsy Frenchman, Monsieur Hulot (played by Tati himself), as he joins the “newly-emerging holiday-taking classes” for an August vacation at a modest seaside resort in Brittany.

Elodie is working at the University of Otago and she’s doing a post-doctoral research in neuroscience. She is working on the bees for these researches.
Nick is working at the University of Otago as IT Manager. He is a beekeeper.

Heike is a French teacher at Queen’s High School. She organised a travel in France with some of these students. Heike, Emily, John and Georges tell us their feelings about this travel in France and what they did at Vichy and Paris.
